Love or Infatuation???

  Life as such is only enjoyable when there is love since humans have an innate need to love and to be loved. But the problems arise when one is not able to distinguish between love and infatuation. For almost every Japan –made product there is a China remake; which would hardly last for half the life time of Japan make. Infatuation is like the China remake of love. It usually doesn’t last long. Though at first It will have a strong resemblance of love. If love can be compared to an oasis in a desert, then infatuation is a mirage of an oasis. Oasis can quench thirst, but mirage cannot.

 Love is a feeling that usually takes time to grow and it grows stronger over time. Infatuation is usually like a bomb dropped by U.S. in Iraq, that goes off and then is gone. Pain might be the only feeling that would last after that. It is all about the moment, about strong attraction and desire that showcases immense passion. Love, on the other hand is something that starts out small and just keeps on growing. It grows strong, like a giant oak, as compared to infatuation, which is more like a weed that grows really fast then dies.  Love, is knowing that your heart belongs to another, and that your love is returned. It is a shared thing. Infatuation can stay awhile or go; there is no way to know. Infatuation is fun, but love is the author of happiness. But at times, if one isn’t careful, only time can prove whether the feeling is love or infatuation.
